Whether it be illness, old age, or isolation, no one should ever be forgotten or left behind; we are committed to providing services to those in need.

Some beneficiaries are provided with temporary assistance. For others, it is constant and long term, since few organizations are available to assist people who have run out of funds for food and medicines, who often have no other resources accessible allowing them to wait for help. We take care of everyone who needs urgent and real help at home.

We try to take as much care as possible and consider the individual needs of our recipients.

Today, our assistance to our recipients consists of providing accommodations, purchasing food and medicines, purchasing medical equipment, supporting them with treatment, reunifying families and bringing together children with their parents, directing financial assistance, and offering moral support.

The “Disaster Relief and Assistance” program

This program is designed to meet the special needs of our Home of Care recipients and their loved ones, as well as to assist them in emergency cases, including:

The Assistance to Orphans program

This program’s purpose is to improve the living conditions of children who lost their family in the Russo-Ukrainian War and currently are in hospitals, boarding schools, or simply are temporarily displaced from their home regions.

We communicate with children from orphanages, help them with studies, try to provide the most necessary provisions, provide assistance in their treatment, and pay for the work of nurses in hospitals. Our volunteers try to provide for the needs, care, and development of children; they become their friends and mentors, and visit young people in psychoneurological boarding schools.
We help with covering the costs of medical examinations, treatments, and rehabilitation of orphaned children that require medical care, and pay for the nurses' work to take care of children for the entire treatment period.

The “Care at Home” program

This is one of the premier programs of at House of Care. The professionally established structure of our patronage service renders it possible for us to take care of isolated, sick or elderly people, and to provide them with assistance to the extent that each individual needs. The “Care at Home” program is based, first and foremost, on an individual approach to each person, and the opportunity to provide additional services that are not included in the list provided by the social security services.

BACK TO YOUTH program

We developed a unique experience to connect the elderly with children. There are many senior citizens who have no surviving relatives or have been abandoned for good. There are also many children who do not have any grandparents due to various circumstances. Connecting these two groups creates a unique experience and family atmosphere that is much needed for a happy life. Seniors appreciate getting a second chance to enjoy their new family. Statistics shows that this program substantially improves the quality of life for both groups involved in this process. This program works well for children with autism who exhibit interest in communicating with new people.

Medical programs

This initiative includes rehabilitation equipment programs, providing assistance to our Home of Care recipients who suffer from impaired mobility, helping them to reach a more independent lifestyle and to increase their mobility. Some of the options are:

The program “Preferential medicines”

This program’s goal is to improve the quality of life of our recipients by facilitating the receipt of free medical consultations, subsidized under the preferential program, or free medicines for women and children. These services are targeting to meet the needs of clients that cannot be met within the framework of public medical institutions within a reasonable time frame.
