Halyna Pavluchok is native of Ukraine. She graduated in chemical science in 1995 from Uzhorod State University. Halyna is actively involved in the social and business life of her region. She led number of companies working in the social and travel industries. From 2007, Halyna volunteered and worked on social projects to attract attention to and charity for orphaned children in the region. Since 2011, she coordinates and assists with placing Ukrainian children with Slovakian, Britain and Swiss universities. She became involved at Home of Care from it is inception in 2012 as a volunteer. In 2022, Halyna assumed the position of Executive Director to help our Charity expand and works tirelessly to deliver our assistance to women, children, and the elderly who have suffered from Russian invasion.
Natalia Shostak is a Director at Home of Care. Natalia graduated from Mukachevo Univesity in 2008 with specialization in non-for-profit organizations. She took on volunteering at local charity, Hesed, until 2012, when she became appointed as a director. Natalia is a born leader when it comes to charity and volunteering. She locates people who need urgent help and assists them quickly and effectively. She has conducted numerous activities helping locate poor and disadvantaged people. She is like a member of every family Home of Care has ever assisted. Natalia is a great manager and charity leader who is able to meet and help those who need it most.
Kateryna Myrenenko is a professional lawyer with over 14 years of experience in legal practice. Kateryna joined our team years ago to represent our interests at different levels. Kateryna became personally involved in our Home of Care. She assisted our clients with various documents to support their cases, to file claims, to apply for assistance, and other legal matters. She obtained documents for the elderly to demonstrate their need of help and assistance. We greatly benefit from Kateryna being part of our team by helping us navigate complex cases.
Iryna Mykolaevna is a volunteer at Home of Care. She is native of Mukachevo and has spent all of her professional life working in social services. She worked as local manager for Hesed from 1999 to 2017, being the chief of intensive personal home care services. She coordinated charity distribution and personally reported on the well-being of each family sponsored by Hesed. From 2017 until now, Iryna has been a volunteer at our Home and a main coordinator for communicating with our donors for making charitable distributions.
Viktor Alexandrovych is a volunteer and freelance medical consultant. Viktor is a professional family doctor, who is graduate from Kyiv State Medical University. Viktor is retired but continues visit our patients and provide initial support including first aid consultations. Viktor spends hours with our patients on an as needed basis. Victor drives his personal car to deliver people in need to and from medical institutions and escorts them home. Viktor is an asset to our team possessing special medical knowledge.
Mykolai Borusevich is a full-time active participant at Home of Care. Mykolai is a native of Ukraine’s capital, Kyiv. Mykolai worked in the trade industry after graduating from Kyiv State Economic Trade University. During his years as a leader of business enterprises, Mykolai always donated and helped our Home acquire supplies and materials. After the Russian invasion in 2022, Mykolai joined our efforts to transport people from war zones. He escorted a number of families to the West of Ukraine, driving in harsh conditions under shelling from enemies. Mykolai is now working on transport and infrastructure missions for our Home.
Eugene Dankanych is a founder and principal sponsor of the charitable organization Home of Care Beit Hesed in Ukraine. Eugene is lawyer authorized to practice in both Canada and Ukraine, practicing both international and domestic law. Eugene shares his professional experience with his community work in Canada and abroad. A native of the Mukachevo region of Ukraine, Eugene is a frequent visitor to Ukraine who personally assists with the development of programs benefiting the fragile population in his region. Over the years Eugene has developed working relations with charitable organizations in Canada and Ukraine to advance Home of Care’s goals. Eugene’s involvement in the charitable work was a passion that has grown into a professional commitment.
